I was lucky to have studied under Mr. Farnham...my life long love of animals, even the creepy crawly ones that live under rocks and slink amidst the leaf litter...his classroom was a riot of animal energy, and his life lesson to all his students was that grades were unimportant when there was learning to be done. Even though I think of him only occasionally nowadays, I must say his impact informs my daily life in many ways, and I wonder how many teachers...in any place or any time can have that sort of impact...
