My Grandfather instilled in me the deepest curiosity and respect for all living creatures around me. From the very first time he offered me my very own pet rat, which came to be every time I visited his fascinating home in Santa Monica for at least 20 years straight, I knew he trusted that I had indeed inherited his passion for animals.
